Mr World 2010 will be held in the beautiful country of Korea. Neighboured by China in the west and Japan in the east, the country stands highlighted in the map of East Asia as one of the most advanced countries of the world.

Today, South Korea is at the forefront of many contemporary fields like Information Technology, Automobiles and Robotics, which makes it a leading name in the global scale. Korea will be a wonderful setting for Mr World 2010, where one country will win the coveted title of ‘The World’s Most Desirable Man’.

Some Interesting facts
The Korean flag is called "Taegeukgi" and it symbolizes the principles of the yin and yang in Oriental philosophy. The two forces together embody continual movement, balance and harmony that characterize the sphere of infinity.

The population of the Republic of Korea stands at 49,024,737. In terms of density, there are roughly 480 people per square kilometer.

Korean history, which in turn referred to the ancient kingdom of Goguryeo. Merchants of the Middle East called it Cauli, which then came to be spelled Corea and Korea.

Incheon
Just 28km from Seoul, Korea’s capital, Incheon has a population of 2.7 million people. The city boasts many attractions on its dramatic landscape including magnificent temples, picturesque beaches, towering mountains and beautiful, secluded islands.

In the late nineteenth century it became a centre for Korea’s modernization. With the signing of trade treaties, first with the US in 1882, then with other world powers of the time, Incheon became Korea’s primary gateway with the outside world. The country’s first train and telephone services were located in Incheon as well.

An exciting, vibrant and outward-looking city, Incheon is the ultimate destination for this year’s search for "The World's Most Desirable Man".

In march will see a record number of contestants travel to Korea for Mr World 2010, the largest event of its kind in history.

The Mr World 2010 finalists will face a series of events that test their strength, stamina, mental agility and determination to succeed in the face of adversity.

The television final will showcase the beautiful country of Korea, highlighting its spectacular scenery, fascinating history and diverse culture as the Mr World nations face each new and exciting challenge that has been prepared for them.

Host city - Icheon boasts many attractions on its dramatic landscape, including magnificent temples, picturesque beaches, towering mountains and beautiful, secluded islands which will be the backdrop for the largest ever men’s event of it’s kind, Mr World 2010.
