The Miss Tourism World Organisation is pleased to announce the new winner of the prestigious title Model of the World 2006 is the stunning Miss Hanri Van Schalkwyk representing South Africa.
This years event was a huge success as countries from around the world took to the stage to compete for the title and crown. The audience applauded as each girl paraded before them proudly representing their country at the event.
The judges had the hard task of choosing the winner from the array of beautiful women before them but were unanimous in their decision that Hanri shone through.
As her name was announced by the First Lady, Hanri stepped tearfully forward to claim the title and crown of Model of the World 2006 as flashlights exploded in the room as national and international press took the first pictures of the new winner.
Hanri is 23 years of age and is a student. In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey, reading and listening to pop music. As well as her studies Hanri?s ambition in life is to be the best model in the world.
