Over 50 world beauty have arrived in Nassau, the capital of Bahamas, commercial and cultural center of the archipelago to dispute the most wanted title of Miss Intercontinental 2006, competition that has already arrived at the 35th edition and has started from Aruba. Another dream land where the first five editions had been fought over. Besides, most of the beauty contests take place in the most exotic places on earth, `dream destinations` which aside from bringing fabulous winnings from tourism, by hosting this sort of events , they absorbingly transport themselves into everyone�s attention. The same thing is intended by the German Detlef Tursies, owner and promoter of the Miss Intercontinental, Mister Intercontinental & Top Model of the World arrived at its 14th edition. Last year, Romania seduced the audience with the participation of the twins Andrada and Laura Florincuta from Oradea at the MISS INTERCONTINENTAL world final in China (HuangShan, at the feet of yellow mountain, an UNESCO�s patrimony). Even now the organizers still remember of that unusual presence for a Miss contest whose title was to be adjudicated by the beautiful Emmarys Pinto (19 years) from Caracas, Venezuela, present in Bahamas in order to handle the crown to the winner.
