This year, Romania is represented at the world final - Top Model Of the World 2008, the 15th edition by Laurette Inocentia Nignon Atindehou - `the chocolate doll` or the future possible `baby-gal` to the Carcotasi (The cavillers). She has already participated at the already famous preselection for the `baby-gals` initiated by Serban Huidu and Mihai Gainusa, and until the final result, she is in Egypt, at the first world final of a beauty contest. WBO (World Beauty Organization) with the headquarters in Germany, organisation whose president is Detlef Tursies, has been collaborating for two years now with Platinum Agency, the initiator and organizer of the Miss Valea Prahovei Festival, that has already reached the 5th edition. This is the agency with the most international achievements in the domain, the series being opened in 2002 with the Miss Bikini World title, gained by the famous Mihaela Tudor, the fiancée of the footballer Ianis Zicu. She was followed by Alina Cirogariu (Miss Tourism World - Venezuela 2003), Cătălina Iancu (Model of The Universe - Turkey 2005), Florina Manea (Miss Tourism International - China 2006), Cristina Fedorca (Model of Models - Madrid 2007) and last but not least Sorina Neacşu, winning in the New Year`s eve the Miss Tourism Metropolitan International - Malaysia title. She was also the winner of the Miss Secret Charm 2007 title, in the same contest, tendered only a week before. During only one single year, Romina Drăgoi, (21 years old, Braşov) won two titles: Miss Celebrity & Miss Popularity at Miss Bikini International - Shanghai, China; Alexandra Beldiman (18 years old, Bucharest) - was designated Miss Congeniality at the Miss Young International - Taiwan 2007 final, where also present was Alexandra Betiu; Izabella Sebestyen (18 years old, Hunedoara) obtained the second place to Miss Bikini Globe in the Miss Globe International final, 36th edition - Tirana, Albania, and Boroka Kopacz (18 years, Tg. Mures) represented Romania in October at the Miss Intercontinental 2007 final, 36th edition in Seychelles Islands, contest patronized by the same WBO. At the 2006 edition hosted by the Bahamas Islands, Romania was proudly represented by Roxana Florina Curelea, the winner of last`s year title Queen of The World - Ischgl, Austria. 50 world beauties are in Egypt The Top Model of the World contest had its debut with the victory of Francesca Bologna (Italy). Since, the record of each edition, the first three editions being hosted by Miami (SUA) and the last two by Germany and China (Hunmen and Kunming), was completed in order by Claudine Obert (France), Jaquline Aguilera (Venezuela), Seline Mendez (Dominican Republic), Franzisca Schaub (Germany), Michelle Khan (Trinidad & Tobago), Suzana Fabryova (Slovakia), Yeliz Celiskan (Turkey), Renata Janeckova (Czech Republic), Natascha Börger (Germany), Nihan Akkus (Turkey), Sun Na (China), Dominika van Santen (Venezuela) and Michelle de Leon (Philippines). The previous has been in Egypt for a week and has been participating at the exceptional program offered by the organizers to the over 50 contestants from five continents. A program that begun with three dreamful days in Cairo, with sight-seeing of the Sphinx and the Pyramids, luxury cruises on the Nile and the most beautiful and interesting City Tours offered especially to the beauties from all the corners of the world. The following `halt` was at the Hurghada station, in a dreamlike resort (Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Red Sea Hotel) that also hosts the Great Final and that is situated on the shore of the Red Sea. Laurette Atindehou - the contest`s sensation and revelation Laurette Inocencia Nignon Atindehou (24 years old, 178 cm, 90-62-90), the first representative of Romania at the Top Model of The World final - Hurghada 2008 (WBO) with father's afro origin was born in Braila and graduated the Law College, department from the `Dunărea de Jos` University in Galaţi. She is now studying for her Master - first year at the `Alexandru Ioan Cuza` Police Academy, `Criminal research` residency. Although she decided to continue her studies, the winner of the `Beauty of The World` 2007 national title in Piatra Neamt, has a vast experience as a model. She is an exotic appearance, she has a nice face, an astounding smile and she has an elegant and refined posture, `details` that have attracted the same attention of the members of the jury, as from the photographers and the cameramen. Another remarkable fact is that in the jury presided by the (WBO) President Detlef Tursies, will also take part Dr. Yasar Sarigul (Lacomed Clinic - Berlin and Istanbul), one of the most famous plastic surgeons in Europe, Exidio Zelaya Jr, editor at `The New York Fashion Week`, `La Bibeles Fashion` (Madrid) and London Fashion Week, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinsky (Director Miss World - Poland), Michelle de Leon (Philippines) - Top Model of The World 2006, but also the reputed Keith Tynes, former member of the legendary band The Platters. Laurette also modeled for the majority of the designers in our country (Cătălin Botezatu, Liza Panait, Mihai Albu, Laura Olteanu, Oana Săvescu, Ersa Atelier), and since 2005 she has been present to all the Bucharest Fashion Week editions. For the matter, at the Talent Show contest, hosted by the famous `The Little Buddha Bar` in Hurghada, Laurette wore a dress Signed Oana Savescu and dansed on the music of Anna Lesko. The evening gown that will be worn by the Romanian woman is an exclusive Ersa Atelier design. On the stage three authentic talents performed: Marlyn Sanchez (Cuba), who song an aria from an opera, Andrea Rauscher (Honduras, 16 years- the contest`s cadet) with a demonstration of Hawaiian Kenpo abd Lusine Beglaryan (Armenia) with a sensational number with three dances in one. Laurette also has experience in television, domain in which she would like to work after finishing her top-model career. She took part in the `Te cuceresc cu un cadou` (I`ll win your heart with a present` show from Euforia Tv, she was tempted at `Fidelity Test` (Antena 1), she was a dancer in the National TV ballet troupe, she acted together with the members of the `VOUA` company and is the finalist for the `baby-garl` post from Cronica Carcotasilor. Our Laurette is already on the cover of the first number of `7 magazine` , released this week in Italy and premiere of the online calendar (www.7magazine.it) that bares the same name, let out with the same occasion. From the photo-shooting done in Italy, Pisa, Laurette came directly to Egypt for the first Great Final in her life. Determined to win!
